- 1 lb butter
- 2 cups sugar
- 1/2 cup almonds, cut fine
- 1/2 cup almonds, chopped
- 8 oz. chocolate (semi-sweet or milk)

Step 1
Melt butter in a saucepan; add sugar and fine cut nuts. Boil on high heat, stirring constantly, until mixture reaches 300 degrees on a candy thermometer. Pour mixture onto a greased cookie sheet; allow to cool. Melt chocolate and spread with a spatula. Sprinkle with chopped almonds on top. Allow chocolate to harden and break into pieces.
