Ingredients

  • 6-8 potatoes peeled and diced
  • 1/2 stalk celery,sliced
  • 2 (8oz each) packages cream cheese, softened
  • 2 cans cream of chicken soup
  • 2-3 carrots sliced
  • 1 onion, chopped
  • salt and pepper to taste
  • 4 cups milk
  • 1/2 cup butter, softened
  • ham or bacon

Preparation

Step 1

Combine potatoes, celery, carrots and onion in large pot cover vegetables with water; cook til tender.

Leave water, do not drain

Meanwile, combine cream cheese, soup and butter. Add to potato mixture. Last, add in milk, salt, pepper and ham or bacon.
