Ingredients
- 1/3 cup butter or margarine
- 1/3 cup All Purpose Flour
- 2 cups Chicken Broth
- 2 cups Half-and-half cream
- 1 teaspoon Salt
- 1/2 teaspoon Ground Black Pepper
- 3 cups Chicken cooked ; chopped
- 1 cup Toasted Sliced Almonds (ooptional
Preparation
Step 1
Melt butter in a large saucepan over medium heat. Stir in flour, then add broth, cream, salt and pepper. Mix together and cook until thickened. Stir in chicken and almonds. Heat through and serve over hot cooked biscuits.
