Ingredients

  • Topping:
  • 3 cups sweet potatoes, cooked & mashed (3-4 large potatoes)
  • 1 cup white sugar
  • ½ cup butter or margarine, melted
  • 2 eggs, well beaten
  • 1 tsp vanilla
  • ¼ cup milk
  • 1 cup brown sugar, firmly packed
  • ¼ cup flour
  • 2 ½ tbsp butter or margarine, melted
  • ½ cups pecans or walnuts, chopped

Preparation

Step 1

Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Mix potatoes, white sugar, butter, eggs, vanilla and milk. Blend well. Spoon into 2-quart casserole dish. Mix brown sugar, flour, butter and nuts. Sprinkle on top of potato mixture. Bake for 25 minutes.
