Broccoli

Ingredients

  • 3-4 Tbls Butter
  • Salt
  • Pepper
  • 3 Tbls Butter
  • 4 Tbls Flour
  • 1 1/2 C Milk (hot)
  • 1/2 C + 3 Tbls cheese - swiss and parmesean
  • 1/2 Tsp Salt to taste
  • Pinch of Pepper
  • Broccoli (Frozen Flowerets)

Preparation

Step 1

Saute Broccoli in butter, salt, and pepper.

White Sauce:
Melt butter, add flour and blend stir over moderate heat for 2 minutes. Remove from heat and add milk, return to heat. With wire wisk bring to a boil stirring constantly for 2 minutes. Cool for a minute and fold in cheese salt andpepper.

In a 6 cup bakijng dish smear 1/2 Tbls butter and 2-3 Tbls of white sauce in bottom. Spread 1/2 of the broccoli and 1/2 of the white sauce. Repeat sprinly remaining chees on top and dot with 1 Tbls butter.

Bake at350 degrees for about 30-35 minutes
