Cream Cheese Brownies

Ingredients

  • 8 oz block of cream cheese
  • 1 1/4 cups of sugar
  • 3 eggs
  • 2 tsp vanilla
  • 1/2 cup butter
  • 2/3 cup flour
  • 1/2 cup cocoa
  • 1/2 tsp baking powder
  • 1/4 tsp salt
  • 4 tbsp milk
  • 1/2 cup chocolate chips

Preparation

Step 1

1. Preheat oven to 325.
2.Lightly coat 8x8 pan with oil.
3.Cream the cheese until smooth and add 1/4 cup of sugar ,1 egg and vanilla and mix thoroughly.
4. Microwave butter in a small bowl.
5. Stir together 1 cup of sugar, flour, cocoa, baking powder, and salt.
6. Wisk together 2 eggs the melted butter, 4 tbsp milk and remaining vanilla.
7. Stir egg mixture into flour mixture
8. Turn the chocolate into the pan.
9. Spoon the cream cheese mixture over the top and using a knife swirl it through the chocolate batter.
10. Bake until the edges pull away from the sides of the pan about 35 -40 minutes.

Can remove about 1 cup of the chocolate mixture in a seperate cup before you put the cream cheese on top of it .Then put dollops of the remaining chocolate over the cream cheese mixture before you swirled with the knife.
