Layered Lettuce Salad

Ingredients
- Salad mixture:
- 1 head lettuce
- 1 c. diced celery
- 6 eggs, hard boiled and sliced
- 1 (10 oz) pkg. frozen peas- thawed and uncooked
- 1/2 green pepper, diced
- 1 small sweet onion, diced
- 8 slices bacon, fried and diced
- 4 oz. (1 c.) cheddar cheese, grated
- 2 c. Hellmann's mayonnaise
- 1/4 c. sugar
- 1/4 c. Parmesan cheese
- (Some people use raw cauliflower instead of peas)

Preparation
Step 1
Tear or cut the cleaned, crispy lettuce into bite sized pieces and place in bowl. Lay rest of ingredients in the order given. (if you don't want any just omit them-like eggs or green pepper). Add sugar and Parmesan cheese to mayonnaise and spread over the top as your would frosting. Cover and refrigerate 8-12 hours. Toss before serving.
