Ingredients
- 2 lbs shrimp
- 2 cloves garlic, crushed
- 1/2 cup soy sauce
- 1/2 teaspoon dry mustard
- 2 tablespoons chili sauce
- 1/2 cup sherry
- 1/2 cup salad oil
- 1 1/2 tablespoon sugar
- 2 teaspoons, red wine vinegar
- 1 teaspoon grated fresh ginger or 1 tablespoon preserved ginger, minced

Step 1
Shell and devein shrimp, leaving tails intact. Rince and dry with paper towels.
Mix the remaining ingredients. Bring to a boil. Pour over shrimp and marinate for 2 hours or longer. String shrimp on skewers. Broil over charcoal or in oven until tender and glazed, basting frequently with the marinade. Should take about 5-10 minutes, depending on size of the shrimp and the amount of heat.
Serve with boiled new potatoes, green peas and romaine lettuce with french dressing.
