Taco Soup

This recipe was from my Aunt Ilda Ruth and it is one of the best soups that I have tried.

Ingredients
- 1 1/2 lean ground beef
- 1 onion, chopped
- 16 oz. can Mexican Style Chili Beans, UNdrained
- 16 oz. can Whole Kernel Corn, UNdrained
- 16 oz. can Diced Tomatoes, UNdrained
- 15 oz. can tomato sauce
- 1 1/4 oz. packet Taco Seasoning Mix
- 1 oz. packet Ranch Style Salad Dressing Mix
- 1 1/2 cups water
- Tortilla Chips
- Shredded Cheese
- Sour Cream
- Avocado, chopped
Preparation
Step 1
In a large Dutch oven pot, cook the ground beef and onion over MEDIUM-HIGH heat until the ground beef is browned, stirring until it crumbles. Stir in the remaining ingredients and bring the soup to a boil. Reduce the heat and simmer for 15 minutes. Serve the soup with tortilla chips, shredded cheese, shredded lettuce, chopped tomatoes, sour cream, chopped avocado, or any other toppings that you desire.
