Ingredients
- 3 lbs. Beef round, 1/2 inch strips.
- 1/2 cup of all-purpose flour
- 2 teas. salt
- 1/2 teas. pepper
- 1/2 teas. dry mustard
- 2 med. onions, thinly sliced and separated into rings
- 2 cans (4 oz.) mushrooms drained or 1/2 pd. fresh, sliced
- 1 can (10 1/2 oz.) condensed beef broth
- 1/4 cup dry white wine (opt.)
- 1 1/2 cup sour cream
- 1/4 cup flour
- hot buttered noodles
- 3 tab. chopped parsley
Preparation
Step 1
Cut meat into 3-inch strips about 1/2 inch wide. Combine 1/2 cup flour, salt, pepper, and dry mustard, coat strips. Place strips into Pot; stir in onion rings and mushrooms. Add broth and wine, Cover and cook low. Before servings, combine sour cream with 1/4 cup of flour. Serive over hot buttered noodles or rice, garnish with parsley.
