Cherry Nut Bread

Ingredients

  • 1-1/2 cups sugar
  • 1/2 cup butter
  • 1/4 cup cherry juice
  • 3 eggs
  • 1 tsp vanilla
  • 2 tsp baking powder
  • 2-1/2 cups sifted flour
  • 1/2 cup milk
  • 1 cup chopped nuts
  • 1/2 cup marachino cherries (cut fine)

Preparation

Step 1

Cream together sugar and butter.
Add eggs.
Combine cherry juice and milk.


Sift dry ingredients together.
Add flour mixture and liquid alternately with first mixture.
Fold in cherries, nuts and vanilla.
Pour into two (2) greased loaf pans.

Bake at 350 degrees for 1 hours - 2 loaves / 25-30 minutes - 4 small loaves
