Banana Cream Pie

Ingredients

• Pie crust (buy or make)
• 2/3 cup sugar
• 3 TBS corn starch
• 1/4 ts salt
• 3 egg yolks
• 1 cup evaporated milk
• 1 cup water
• 1 ts vanilla
• 2-3 bananas
• tub of cool whip

Preparation

Step 1

mix sugar, cornstarch, salt in bowl

in sauce pan on stove combine evaporated milk, water and egg yolk and stir in dry ingredients continuously until smooth over low heat til thicken about 10 minutes.

remove from heat add vanilla and let COMPLETELY cool with a wet paper towel on top.

slice bananas on crust, add cream on top.

add cool whip a little before you are ready to eat.
