Sirloin on a stick

Ingredients

  • Marinade:
  • 1/2 cup soy sauce
  • 1/2 cup dry red wine
  • 1 tab. minced fresh ginger (opt.)
  • 1 tab. minced garlic
  • 2 tab. chopped cilantro
  • freshly grounded black pepper to taste
  • 1 1/2 lbs. lean beef sirloin, cut into 12 pieces, about 2 inch cubes.

Preparation

Step 1

Mix marinade in a bowl. Add sirloin, toss to coat. Cover and refrigerate over night until use. Preheat broiler. Remove beef from marinade and thread onto 4 skewers on a the diagonal. Place meat 4 inches from heat. Broil 3 to 4 minutes on each side, brushing with marinade.
