Pickled Beans

Ingredients

  • 1/2 gallon green beans
  • 1 1/2 cups sugar
  • 1 1/4 cups vinegar
  • 1 cup oil
  • 3 cloves garlic
  • 1 large onion, cut up

Preparation

Step 1

Cook green beans in pressure cooker for five minutes.
Mash garlic.

Cook sugar, vinegar and oil until sugar is dissolved.

Put beans in jars and mix with garlic and onion.

Pour hot liquid over beans.

Let stand twenty four hours.

Will keep indefinitely.
