SUMMER BLONDIES

Got this recipe from a Style at Home magazine.. I knew when I read it that these would be tasty.. lots of white chocolate in them !!

Ingredients

  • 1 3/4 cups flour
  • 2 1/2 tsp baking powder
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 1/2 cup unsalted butter
  • 500 g white chocolate (I used chips)
  • 3 eggs
  • 1/2 cup sugar
  • 2 tsp vanilla
  • icing sugar for dusting

Preparation

Step 1

Whisk together the flour, baking powder and salt.

Melt butter and 140 g of the chocolate on low heat till chocolate is melted.

Mix eggs, sugar and vanilla with mixer. Add melted chocolate and butter and beat till mixed together. Add dry ingredients a bit at a time and gently fold. Add remainder of chocolate gently.

Bake in a 325 degree oven in an 8" x 8" baking pan for 45-50 minutes till the top is set. Dust with icing sugar. Cut when cooled.
