  • 16 oz softened cream cheese
  • 4 c sliced and peeled apples
  • 1 c graham cracker crumbs
  • 3 amounts of sugar: 3 Tbs, 1/2 cup and 1/3 cup
  • 1 tsp cinnamon
  • 3 Tbs melted butter
  • 2 eggs
  • 1/2 tsp vanilla
  • 1/2 c chopped pecans

Step 1

Preheat oven to 350
combine graham cracker crumbs, 3 Tbs sugar, 1/2 tsp cinnamon and butter. mix well. Press mixture into 9 inch pie plate. bake 10 minutes.
In a large bowl, beat cream cheese, 1/2 cup sugar until well blended. Add eggs one at a time. Beat well. Add vanilla and pour into graham cracker crust.
In large bowl toss sliced apples with 1/3 cup sugar and 1/2 tsp cinnamon. Spooon on top of cheesecake filling. Sprinkle pecans over apples.
Bake 1 hour. Chill well.
