Ingredients
- 1 1/2 c unsalted butter
- 3/4 c confectioner sugar, pluc 1/3 c for rolling
- 3/4 tsp salt
- 1 1/2 c finely ground blanched almonds
- 5 1/2 tsp vanilla extract
- 3 c sifted all purpose flour
Preparation
Step 1
Preheat oven 325F. Cream butter in bowl, Gradually add confectioners sugar and salt. Beat until light and fluffy. Add almonds and vanilla. Blend in flour gradually, mix well. Shape into balls using about 1 tsp for each cookie. Place oningreased cookie sheet. Bake 15 to 20 min. Do not brown. Cool slightly, then roll in the extra confectioners sugar.
