Ingredients
- 1 Tablespoon vegetable oil
- 1 cup long-grain rice
- 2 1/2 cups cold water
- 2 tsp. salt
- 2 tsp. garlic salt or 1 tsp. garlic powder
- 3/4 cup tomato sauce

Step 1
In a skillet, heat oil over medium heat. Add rice and cook until lightly browned. Add water and remaining ingredients; bring to a boil.
Cover and simmer until rice is tender.
