An easy, quick, no-fuss frozen drink that can be made ahead of time.
- 1 cup sugar
- 1 1/2 cups water
- 2 cups lime juice
- 1 cup tequila
- Lime slices for garnish (optional)
Preparation time 10mins
Cooking time 15mins
Heat sugar and water in a small saucepan, stirring to dissolve sugar. Add lime juice and pour into a 9x13 metal pan. Freeze overnight. Just before serving, scrape with a spoon until slushy. Add tequila. Spoon into glasses and garnish with lime slices.
