Ingredients
- ½ c. butter
- 2 c. sugar
- 2 eggs
- 2 ½ c. flour
- 1 ½ tsp. baking soda
- 1 tsp. salt
- 1 tsp. cinnamon
- ½ tsp. nutmeg
- ¼ tsp. allspice
- ¾ c. applesauce
- ½ c. raisins
- ½ c. chopped walnuts
- 1 c. shredded carrot

Preparation
Step 1
Beat butter, gradually adding sugar until light and fluffy.
Add eggs one at a time.
Sift together flour, baking soda, salt, cinnamon, nutmeg and allspice.
Add dry ingredients and apple sauce alternatively.
Stir in raisins, carrots and nuts.
Bake @ 350 for 45 min in a 9x13 or a tube pan
