Ingredients

  • ½ c. butter

  • 2 c. sugar

  • 2 eggs

  • 2 ½ c. flour

  • 1 ½ tsp. baking soda

  • 1 tsp. salt

  • 1 tsp. cinnamon

  • ½ tsp. nutmeg

  • ¼ tsp. allspice

  • ¾ c. applesauce

  • ½ c. raisins

  • ½ c. chopped walnuts

  • 1 c. shredded carrot

Directions

Beat butter, gradually adding sugar until light and fluffy. Add eggs one at a time. Sift together flour, baking soda, salt, cinnamon, nutmeg and allspice. Add dry ingredients and apple sauce alternatively. Stir in raisins, carrots and nuts. Bake @ 350 for 45 min in a 9x13 or a tube pan
