Australian Steak Strips

Ingredients

  • 1 lb. beef round steak, cut into strips
  • 1 cup chopped onion
  • ½ cup thinly sliced carrot
  • 1 clove minced garlic
  • 2 tbs. oil
  • ½ cup white wine
  • 1/3 cup water
  • ½ tsp. thyme
  • ½ tsp. dried marjoram
  • Pepper
  • 4 tsp. flour

Preparation

Step 1

Cook the beef strips, onion, carrot, and garlic in hot oil until the meat is browned. Stir in wine and seasonings. Bring to a boil and reduce heat. Cover and simmer 15 minutes.
