Shrimp w/Orange & Tequila

Ingredients

  • 3 tbsp olive oil
  • 14oz fresh jumbo shrimp
  • 2 garlic cloves - peeled and finely sliced
  • sea salt and pepper
  • generous splash of tequila
  • juice of 1 orange

Preparation

Step 1

Heat a large skillet, then add the olive oil. When hot, add shrimp with the garlic and some seasoning. Pan-fry for 2 minutes on each side until shrimp turn bright red and opaque.

Add splash of tequila, carefully and standing back as it may flambe. Pour in orange juice and let bubble for a few minutes until liquid has reduced. Transfer to warm plate and serve immediately.
