Ingredients

• 1 loaf Arnold's sliced white bread
• 2 cups grated extra sharp cheddar cheese
• 1 small Grated Onion
• 1 tbs. Butter
• 1/2 cup Heavy Cream
• Salt and Pepper to taste
• Paprika (sprinkle on top)

Preparation

Step 1

Combine grated cheese, and onion in mixing bowl. Melt butter in saucepan, add heavy cream. Pour hot mixture over cheese/onion mix and stir till thickens. You may add more heavy cream if needed. It should not be runny though.

Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Cut crusts from bread and cut slices in thirds. Spread cheese on bread. Place on large cookie sheet. Sprinkle with paprika.

Bake until bread starts to toast. Switch oven to broiler. Brown for only 2 minutes. Careful- they can burn quickly.
