Ingredients
- Coating:
- shortening 3 cupss
- sugar 4 1/2 cups
- eggs 6
- flour 8 1/4 cups
- cream of tartar 2 tablespoons
- baking soda 1 tablespoon
- salt 1 1/2 teaspoons
- sugar 6 tablespoons
- cinnamon 2 tablespoons
Preparation
Step 1
Preheat oven to 375°
Mix first three ingredients together
Shift dry ingredients together, add to first mixture
Chill dough in refrigerator about 1 hour
Roll into balls the size of a walnut
Roll balls in coating
Place on cookie sheet about 2 inches apart
Bake for 10 minutes
