Mexican Wedding Rings

Ingredients

  • Cream:
  • 1/4 # butter, softened
  • 2 heaping tsp XXX sugar
  • 1 C flour (cake flour preferred)
  • 1/8 tsp salt
  • 1 tsp vanilla
  • 1/2 C chopped nuts, pecans or walnuts

Preparation

Step 1

Mix all together and let stand in refrigerator until stiff.

Take 1 tsp of dough at a time and roll into balls. Place on cookie sheet, press down with teaspoon. Bake at 375 °F until light brown.

Roll in XXX sugar while still warm.
