Ingredients
- 1 (12-oz) package semi-sweet chocolate chips
- 3 cups sugar
- 3/4 cup butter
- 2/3 cup (5-1/2 oz can) evaporated milk
- 1 jar (7-oz) marshmallow creme
- 1 tsp vanilla
- 1 cup chopped nuts
Preparation
Step 1
Combine sugar, butter and milk. Bring to a rolling boil, stirring constantly. Boil 5 minutes over medium heat, or until candy thermometer reaches 238 degrees, stirring constantly to prevent scorching. Remove from heat.
Stir in chocolate pieces until melted. Add marshmallow creme, nuts, and vanilla.
Beat until well blended.
Pour into a greased 13x9-inch pan. Cook and cut into squares.
