Ingredients

  • 3

    cups flour

  • ½

    tsp. salt

  • 1

    T. baking powder

  • ¾

    cup sugar

  • cup shortening

  • cup butter

  • 1

    egg beaten

  • ¾

    cup milk

Directions

Combine and sift dry ingredients. Cut in shortening and butter. Place beaten egg in measuring cup, fill to one cup mark with milk. Add to dry ingredients. Turn dough onto floured board and knead until no longer sticky. Form 3 balls. Roll each into a circle, then cut into pie shaped pieces. Bake at 400 for 25 minutes if they are thick. ( Can add chocolate chips)
