Chili Corn Spoon Bread - Quick and Easy

Ingredients

  • 1 pkg. Jiffy Cornbread Mix
  • 1 egg
  • ⅓ cup milk (I use a bit less)
  • 1 small can diced green chilis
  • 1 small can (7oz) creamed corn or ½ of a large can.
  • ½ cup grated cheddar cheese or Mexican blend cheese (add more if desired).

Preparation

Step 1

Mix cornbread as directed on package decreasing milk a little bit to account for the the creaminess of the corn. Stir in corn, green chilis and cheese and bake according to package directions until browned on top.
