Celery-Sticks and Dip

Ingredients

  • ● 1 8- oz. package cream cheese
  • ● 3/4 cup salsa
  • ● 8 oz. grated Cheddar
  • ● 8 celery stalks, cut into 3-inch-x-1/2-inch lengths
  • ● 1/2 cup sliced almonds, optional

Preparation

Step 1

1. Preheat oven to 350°F. Reserve 1 Tbsp. cream cheese and spread remaining cream cheese evenly in an 8-inch square baking dish. Spread salsa over cream cheese. Sprinkle with grated Cheddar. Bake 10 minutes. Arrange almonds on top of dip. Bake another 5 minutes or until cheese is melted. Let cool slightly.
2.Place a dab of cream cheese on one end of each celery stick and press a sliced almond into cream cheese. Arrange celery fingers on platter and serve with hot dip.
