CROUTONS*****Puff Pastry Croutons

Good way to use up puff pastry scraps, if you have them.

Ingredients

  • leftover puff pastry, cut into small squares
  • melted butter, as needed
  • black and white sesame seeds, optional (haven't tried)
  • Malden and black salt - optional (good but don't overdo)

Preparation

Step 1

*Cut* small squares out of desired amount of pastry sheets. *Brush* with melted unsalted butter, and sprinkle with a pinch of *Malden* or *Black* salt and black sesame or regular sesame seeds, if desired.

*Bake* in a preheated 400*F. oven for 15 minutes until golden, watching carefully at the end.

Float in soup, sprinkle over a salad, or eat out of hand as a snack! Enjoy!
