Ingredients
- 1 lb. ground beef
- 1 can spaghetti sauce
- 1 can crushed tomatoes
- 1/2 cup water
- salt and pepper
- 2 tbsp. garlic powder
- 3 tbsp. Italian seasoning
- 15 oz. container ricotta cheese
- 1 package (7 oz.) mozzarella cheese (divided)
- 1/4 cup parmesan cheese
- 1 egg
- 2 tbsp. chopped fresh parsley
- 9 lasagna noodles

Preparation
Step 1
Brown ground beef. Drain. Mix spaghetti sauce, crushed tomatoes and water - to this mixture add salt and pepper, garlic powder and Italian seasoning. Stir this mixture into ground beef.
Mix ricotta, mozzerella, parmesan, egg and parsley. You can leave out some of the mozzarella and parmesan if you want for the top.
Spoon 1 cup meat sauce, 3 noodles and 1/3 of the cheese mixture. Repeat twice ending with meat sauce. Cover.
Cook on low 3 1/2 to 4 hours. Sprinkle with remaining cheese. Let stand covered 10 minutes.
