Ingredients
- 1 1/2 lbs carrots, peeled and sliced diagonally
- 2 tbsp maple syrup
- 1 tbsp Dijon mustard
- 1/4 tsp each salt and pepper
- 2 tbsp butter
- 1 tbsp chopped fresh thyme
Preparation
Step 1
In large saucepan, bring 3/4 cup water, carrots, maple syrup, mustard, salt and pepper to boil; cover and cook over medium heat for 5 to 7 minutes or until almost tender.
Uncover and cook over high heat, stirring often, for 3 to 5 minutes or until tender and no liquid remains. Remove from heat; stir in butter and thyme.
