Shrimp in Tomato Cream with Pasta

Ingredients
- 1/3 cup dried tomatoes packed in oil, drained and slivered.
- 1 clove garlic
- 1 pound large shrimp shelled and deveined
- 1/4 cup thinly sliced onions.(green)
- 1 1/2 tablespoons chopped fresh basil or 1 tablespoon dry basil.
- 1/4 teaspoon white pepper.
- 3/4 cup dry vermouth.
- 10 ounce pasta.
- whipping cream.

Preparation
Step 1
Measure 2 tablespoons oil from tomatoes.
Heat oil in wide frying pan over Med-High heat.
When oil is hot, add garlic and shrimp.
Cook stirring often until shrimp are opaque, about 6 minutes. Lift out and set aside.
Add onions, basil, tomatoes, pepper, broth, vermouth and creamto pan.
Boil over high heat stirring occasionally until reduced to about 1 1/2 cups. This should take approximately 10 minutes.
Return shrimp to pan until heated through.
Cook pasta.
