Mom's Spicy Cheddar Cheese Crackers-Lisa Pepper

These spicy crackers are good for appetizers as well as to serve with soups and salads. They are a family favorite.

Ingredients
- 1 1/2 cup Butter, softened
- 3 Cups Flour
- 3 Cups Sharp Cheddar Cheese, grated
- 1 1/2 tsp salt
- 1/2 tsp Cayenne Pepper or more to taste
- 2 Cups Rice Krispies

Step 1
Blend cheese and butter. Combine flour, salt, cayenne and add to cheese and butter. Mix in Rice Krispies. Drop by teaspoons on to cookie sheet lined with parchment paper. Bake 350 degrees 15 minutes. Makes about 8 dozen. Note…if you want these to look more like crackers, you can roll the mixture into little balls and flatten with a fork.
