Ingredients

- 1/4 cup Karo Light Corn Syrup
- 2 tablespoons butter OR margarine, softened
- 2 tablespoons brown sugar, packed
- 1 cup coarsely chopped pecans
- 1-1/2 cups all-purpose flour
- 2 envelopes Fleischmann's RapidRise Yeast
- 1 teaspoon baking powder
- 1/2 cup sugar
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1/4 cup butter OR margarine, melted
- 1/2 cup warm milk (120° to 130°F)
- 1 egg
- 1 teaspoon pure vanilla extract
- 1 teaspoon cinnamon

Directions
To make topping, mix corn syrup, butter, and brown sugar together. Pour into a pre-sprayed 8 X 8-inch baking dish, then sprinkle with pecans, covering the bottom of the dish with pecans.
Mix flour, yeast, baking powder, sugar, salt, butter, warm milk, egg, vanilla, and cinnamon in a mixing bowl. Heat butter and milk to 120° - 130°F. Add to flour mixture and mix at medium speed of electric mixer for 1 minute. Add egg and vanilla; mix on high speed of electric mixer for 1 minute. Pour batter mixture over pecan topping mixture. Let rest 10 minutes.
Bake by placing in a cold oven; set temperature to 350°F. Bake for 30 minutes, or until done.
