Ingredients

  • CRUST
  • 3 c flour
  • 3/4 c sugar
  • 2 1/2 t BP
  • 1/8 t salt>>mix
  • 2/3 c butter>>cut in (pea size)
  • 2 eggs
  • 1 t vanilla
  • 3 T milk
  • 1/2 t lemon zest>>Mix, stir in to flour mixture.
  • Let dough rest in the frig.
  • STREUSEL TOPPING
  • 1/2 c flour
  • 1/4 c brown sugar
  • 1/2 t cinn
  • 1/4 t salt
  • 1/3 c chopped hazelnuts
  • 1 t lemon zest>>>mix
  • 3 T butter>cut in. Set aside.
  • FILLING
  • 1 c sugar
  • 1/4 c flour
  • 1 t cinn
  • 1/2 t nutmeg>>>mix, then combine w/ plums.
  • 5 c sliced plums>>Stir gently.

Preparation

Step 1

Roll out pie crust & put in 9" pan.
Trim & flute edges.
Pour in filling.
Cover with streussel topping.

Bake 45-55 min @ 375.
