Ingredients

  • Lemon meringue Pie
  • 1 1/2 C sugar
  • 1/2 C starch
  • 1/8 t salt
  • 4 egg yolk
  • 1 3/4 C water
  • 1/2 C lemon juice
  • 3 T butter and lemon rind. Spoon into shell. Spread meringue over hot filling. Bake pie at 325 for 25-28 minutes.

  • Combine first 3 ingredients, set aside
  • Combine egg yolks, water, lemon juice. Stir into sugar mixture
  • Cook over med. heat, stirring constantly until mixture thinckens and boils. Remove forom heat and stir in butter

  • 1/2 t vanilla
