Ingredients
- 6 hard-boiled eggs, peeled
- 2 tbsp butter
- 1/4 cup flour
- 1-1/2 cups milk
- 1-1/2 tsp chicken bouillon granules
- 6 slices bread, ligtly toasted
- Salt and pepper to taste
Preparation
Step 1
Separate egg whites from the egg yolks. Place egg yolks into a bowl and mash with a fork. Chop the egg whites into small pieces and set aside.
Melt the butter in a saucepan and set over medium heat. Stir in flour intil smooth. Gradually stir in the milk and chicken granules so that no lumps form and stir constantly uintil the mixtrure comes to a boil. Add egg yolks and mix until dissoloved. Stir in the egg whites. Seaon to taste with salt and pepper.
Serve over toast.
