NOODLES TERIYAKI

Ingredients

  • 8 oz. vermicelli noodles
  • 1 bag broccoli slaw
  • 8 oz. boneless pork cut into strips
  • 1 tablespoon vegetable oil
  • 2 green onions sliced
  • 2 cloves garlic finely chopped
  • 1/2 cup chicken broth
  • 2 teaspoons cornstarch
  • 3 tablespoons tamari sauce
  • 1/4 teaspoon red pepper flakes

Preparation

Step 1

Cook pasta in large pot of boiling water 6 minutes until firm but tender. Add broccoli slaw. Return to boiling, boil 2 minutes, drain. Stir fry pork in oil in large nonstick skillet until lightly browned, about 5 minutes. Push meat to one side. Add onion and garlic, cook 1 minute. Stir 2 tablespoons chicken broth and cornstarch in a small bowl until smooth. Add to skillet with remaining broth, tamari sauce and pepper flakes. Cook, stirring over medium heat until mixture thickens and boils, 2 minutes. Add pasta, broccoli mixture to pork mixture in skillet. Toss to mix.
