Broccoli Noodle Side Dish

Ingredients

  • 3 cups uncooked wide egg noodles
  • 1/8 cup oil
  • 1/2 lb sliced mushrooms
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 3-4 garlic cloves, minced
  • 2 cups broccoli florets
  • 1/2 tsp thyme
  • 1/4 tsp pepper

Preparation

Step 1

Cook noodles according to package directions. Meanwhile, in a skillet, saute garlic in oil until tender. Add broccoli; saute for 4 minutes or until crisp tender. Add mushrooms, thyme, pepper and salt; saute for 2-3 minutes. Drain noodles, add to broccoli mixture. Stir gently over low heat until heated through.
