Ingredients
- 1 1/2 pounds large bay shrimp, peeled and deveined
- 1/4 cup butter, softened
- 1/4 cup olive oil
- 2 tablespoons parsley, minced
- 2 tablespoons lemon juice
- 1 green onion, minced
- 1 clove garlic, minced
- 1/2 teaspoon garlic salt
- 1/8 teaspoon freshly ground black pepper
- 1 pound linguine, cooked
Preparation
Step 1
Place butter in a large shallow bowl. Stir in olive oil, parsley, lemon juice, onion, garlic salt and pepper.
Arrange shrimp in one layer in the bowl. Marinate in refrigerator for at least 1 hour.
Remove shrimp from refrigerator and microwave, covered, on high, for 2 minutes. Rearrange shrimp and continue to cook on high setting until shrimp are pink and firm, checking every 30 seconds.
Cook pasta according to package instructions. Drain and place in a large serving bowl. Top with shrimp mixture and serve immediately.
