String Bean Casserole- Carole Joyner's

Ingredients

  • Fresh String Beans 4 (lbs)
  • salt
  • pepper
  • scoop of sugar
  • 3 shallots, chopped
  • olive oil
  • 1/2 cup balsamic vinegar
  • Feeds 6 people

Preparation

Step 1

Cut off tips boil in water with salt, pepper and scoop of sugar until tender. Saute' 3 chopped shallots in olive oil. Once tender stir in about 1/2 cp balsamic vinegar. Cover. Simmer on warm until caremlized. Before serving toss the heated sauce over the heated green beans.
