  • 1 cup light corn syrup
  • 3 eggs
  • 1/2 cup sugar
  • 1 cup semi-sweet chocolate chips
  • 1/4 cup margarine or butter
  • 1 tsp vanilla
  • 1 1/2 cups pecan halves

Preparation

Step 1

In a large bowl, combine corn syrup, sugar, butter, vanilla, and eggs. Beat well.
Stir in remaining chocoalte cips and 1 1/2 cups pecans.
Spread evenly in pie crust.
Bake at 325 for 55-65 minutes or until deep golden brown and filling is set.
Cover edge of pie crust with strip of foil after 15-20 minutes of baking to prevent over browning.
Let cool completely before serving.
