  • 1 1/2 cups sifted all-purpose flour
  • 1/2 teasp. salt
  • 1/2 cup shortening ( Crisco )
  • 4-5 Tbsp. Ice cold water

Step 1

Sift flour and salt together. Cut in with pastry blender or fork the shortening til dough is the size of small peas. Add ice water 1 Tbsp. at a time. Form into ball and wrap in plastic wrap. Chill for at least 1 hour before rolling out.
