Yam Souffle

This is a recipe that Natalia Horton shared with me when we lived in Florida. The girls have always enjoyed this recipe during the holiday meals.

Ingredients
- Two 29 oz. cans Bruce's Yams in Syrup, drained
- 1 stick margarine
- 1/2 cup brown sugar
- 1 cup walnuts, chopped
- 1 tsp cinnamon
- 10-14 Jet Puffed regular sized marshmallows
Preparation
Step 1
To a large bowl, add the yams, butter, brown sugar, and cinnamon; Mash the yams using a potato masher until the mixture is smooth. Add the walnuts and mix together to combine. Place the yam mixture into a glass 8" x 8" glass dish. Add the marshmallows to the top of the souffle. Bake the Yam Souffle at 350 degrees Fahrenheit for 45 minutes. Serve warm.
