Ingredients

  • 2 C Flour
  • 3 Tsp Baking Powder
  • 1 Tsp Salt
  • 1/4 C Shortening
  • 3/4 C Milk

Step 1

Preheat Oven to 450 Degrees

Sift flour, Baking Powder, and Salt. Combine with Shortening working the ingredients together. Add Milk. On Floured Board Knead for 20 seconds. Roll until mixture is 1/2" thick. Cut with a cookie cutter and place on ungreased sheet.

Bake 8 to 10 minutes. Makes 12 2" size biscuits.
