Ingredients
- 1 qt. sauerkraut, drained (I use the bag of sauerkraut)
- 1 cup sliced celery
- 1/2 cup chopped peppers or pimentos ( I use pimentos)
- 1/2 cup chopped onion
- 1 cup sugar
- 1/4 cup white vinegar
- 1/4 cup vegetable oil
- 1/4 tsp. salt
- Make at least one day ahead
Preparation
Step 1
Combine sauerkraut, celery, peppers ( or pimentos) and onion.
Mix well. Combine sugar, white vinegar, oil and salt.
Pour over sauerkraut mixture. Toss well.
Refrigerate at least 24 hours ahead of serving time.
Keeps forever ( unless it gets eaten, like mine does)
