Ingredients
- 1/4 cup butter
- 1/2 cup brown sugar
- 1/4 cup (2 ounces) brewed espresso, at room temperature
- 1/4 cup (2 ounces) Scotch whiskey
- 3 cups confectioners' sugar
Preparation
Step 1
Cream the butter. Add the brown sugar and continue creaming until smooth. Mix the whiskey and espresso in a cup. Add the confectioners' sugar to the creamed mixture alternately with the whiskey and espresso liquid. Use as a filling between split layers of a 7-inch baker's sponge cake and as frosting for outside a bundt cake.
