Ingredients
- 4 1/2 pounds tomato, ripe peeled
- 4 1/2 cups sugar
- 1 tablespoon cinnamon, broken
- 1 1/2 cups vinegar
- 1/2 teaspoon allspice
- 1 teaspoon cloves
Preparation
Step 1
Scald and peel tomatoes and then quarter them.
1. Place in a cooking pan and add sugar, vinegar, and spices.
2. Cook slowly till thickened and put in jars.
